Padauk bridge blank, 2nd grade, classical
Padauk is a bright orange or almost crimson wood when freshly cut, but oxidizes to a darker, rich purple-brown over time - although it stays redder than Indian Rosewood. Slightly harder and heavier than Indian Rosewood it is stable, easy to work.
Each bridge blank is different from the next. We are showing you a representation of the wood species, but your bridge blank might look very different from the representative photo.
