These genuine Ebony wood buttons (which only fit onto Schaller brand tuners) can really help dress up a guitar. Using wood knobs can also help cut down the weight of your neck or peghead. The SBEM buttons, for example, weigh an ounce less than the mini Schaller buttons in chrome. This is an especially valuable suggestion for 12 string guitars (save a total of 2 ounces) and when heavier neck woods, like Sapele or Rosewood, are used.
