Tri-M-ite™ abrasives are a no-load silicon carbide, self-adhesive sanding material designed for use on both wood and finishes. It is a relatively low-cost material best used for the heavier-duty surface preparation. We highly recommend the use of this sandpaper because of its aggressive, no-clogging cutting action. The Tri-M-ite™ papers also work well in the finer grits for leveling between coats of finish.
