STDRT

DR, electric, compression-wound, nickel-plated strings

$11.03

DR handmade strings are the only guitar strings made in America, one at a time. DR™ uses a careful process that keeps the core wire under high tension equal to, or greater than the string tension at concert pitch. They're made with very high pressure while holding the wrapped material by hand—the core material does not have to be soft to avoid breakage on high-speed machinery. This actually means that more metal is compressed into the string than with equivalent strings from other manufacturers. The DR™ .042" string contains more metal than a comparable .044".

Nickel-plated electric guitar strings wound on round cores. Tite-Fit round-wound nickel-plated electric guitar strings are designed to be a great all-around string. Based upon a round core, the construction techniques for the Tite-Fit electrics are very old, however, the core wire and wrap wire in DRs are the latest, most advanced, and expensive metals available. For rock, blues, heavy metal, or jazz Tite-Fits are a wonderful all-around string.
