This rasp is ideal for final shaping and carving the neck and heel. It has both a flat and a convex surface. The cutting surface measures 9 1/4". The randomly placed teeth minimize chatter and chip loading and they are exceptionally aggressive. Though there are cheaper rasps available, for those guitar builders who wish to tool up with the finest available, there is no need to look any further.
