Port Orford Cedar neck blank, 1st grade, 30" x 3" x 7/8"
30" neck blanks typically require a heel blank.
Port Orford Cedar has the highest strength to weight ratio of all wood species. It is among the toughest and most elastic of softwoods and due to its fibrous interlocking grain structure it is extremely resistant to splitting and is very dimensionally stable.
First-grade necks and heels are straight-grained, quartersawn with a 25° variance off quarter allowed.
