These removable mylar pickguards have a layer of repositionable adhesive. Unlike vinyl, the formulation of this adhesive is non-reactive to guitar finishes. In addition the adhesive layer allows for use on matte finishes.
Kling-On pickguards should be removed when not in use. They are only for use on fully cured finishes. These pickguards should not be used on French polished finishes. Pickguards in the photos are shown with white protective backing in place. The pickguards are clear.
