The SPCSM calipers are for measuring the thickness of tops and backs. This extremely well-made caliper is manufactured in the USA with a dial gauge made in Germany. The gauge measures up to 30mm in 0.1mm increments. The body is CNC machined powder coated aluminum. The throat has an 8 1/4" capacity.
A small hardware pack is included with the calipers which contains a hex wrench for loosening the screw for the lower contact point and for loosening or tightening set screw which allows the gauge to swivel, a replacement lower contact point for a smaller point of contact, a replacement for the tip of upper contact point for a smaller point of contact, and optional legs for the front of calipers.
