Ron Hock, the maker of many of our tool blades, creates the finest high carbon steel instrument-making knives available in our opinion. Hardened and tempered to Rockwell C-62 for the best combination of edge-holding, sharpening power, and blade toughness, these marking knives will offer years of use and satisfaction.
These are right or left hand, spear point marking knives that are beveled on one side only. The unbeveled side can be used against a straight edge.
You will need to make your own handles if you want them, but that's an easy and fun task. You can also use Friendly Plastic to create an ergonomic handle.
