Binding cement, 16 oz./pint

$43.62

Our FGW binding cement is for bonding plastic to wood. It works well for edge binding but may also be used for bonding pickguards. Our customers tell us that no other cement works as well on vinyl, ABS plastics, and most plastic bindings. It's great for Boltaron™ where Duco won't work. Stronger than Duco and other cement, heat buildup from scraping or sanding does not cause the binding to delaminate. It works with celluloid nitrate (ivoroid, "tortoise"), but it does not dissolve the material like other acetone-based cement.

We recommend using our FGS glue syringes for the application of this product.

NOTE: As with any product, practice on a test piece before using on your guitar. These products etch slightly into the plastic and wood, so they are not appropriate for very thin plastic applications

The first time I have ever been unhappy with an LMI product

If i could give it a negative 5 star I would. I don't what this stuff works on , but I can tell you it does not work for repairing Martin Boltaron. Used according to directions and not one inch of binding stuck to the wood. I was attempting to repair loose bindings on the entire top and 3/4 of the back of a D-28. Worthless waste of time.
