Although we offer the LMI Bending Machine and the Electric Free-Form Bending Iron to bend sides consistently and accurately to exact shapes, we also offer this 12" long aluminum pipe for hand bending sides and bindings in the traditional manner. The pipe is mounted in a vice and heated internally with a propane torch or bar-b-que briquette starter. Although it requires developing skill through use, this method of hand bending over a pipe has been used for centuries and is still used by skilled builders all around the world.
