We have two innovative tools here at Luthiers Mercantile that utilize a vacuum pump, both of which make lutherie work much more convenient! Our vacuum work holder will hold your instrument in place using suction, and can pivot in about any fashion you could want to make reaching any point of your instrument a breeze while keeping both hands free! Our vacuum bridge clamp can also use the same vacuum pump to hold your bridge securely in place with firm, even clamping pressure. We also carry parts and accessories for making your own vaccum jigs.
