Backstrips
Though many of our purfling, binding and wood strips can be used to inlay at the back seam of a guitar or ukulele, the parts we sell specifically as backstrips are thick enough to be sandwiched between the backplates when they are joined, should you choose not to inlay the backstrip. Marquetry backstrips in a zipper pattern, vintage Martin styles, and other patterns are a standout, but we also make many other more subdued patterns made from laminated tonewoods.
