Luthiers Mercantile International is known throughout the world for our range of quality back and side woods for archback mandolins. We specialize in figured and flamed maple for F-style mandolin and similar designs. Makers of handmade mandolins rely on LMI for tonewood that is expertly dried, sanded and stored. All of our woods are responsibly harvested and imported (which is why you will not find Brazilian Rosewood back and sides or other endangered or illegal species).
