We carry species from every continent for every type of ukulele including the popular tenor ukulele and soprano ukulele. Makers of handmade ukuleles rely on LMI for tonewood that is expertly dried, sanded and stored. All of our woods are responsibly harvested and imported (which is why you will not find Brazilian Rosewood back and sides or other endangered or illegal species). We specialize in staples like Indian Rosewood, Honduran Mahogany, and Bigleaf Maple but always have dozens of other enticing exotic species on hand. When we can, we enjoy presenting woods with spider-web figure, flamed figure, beeswing figure and more.
