Kerfed linings are delicate. Despite our expertise in shipping, it is impossible to guarantee that a shipment of linings will not arrive without some damage. Fortunately, broken kerfed linings are 100% invisible once installed, in fact, some people purposefully break them into sections during installation. However, if your shipment of linings suffers excessive damage, we will take care of it. The first step is to email photos of the damage to service@luthiersmerc.com. If we decide replacements are in order, we will do so only once. That is, if the replacement order also suffers damage, we will not replace those strips.
