The soundboard is the part of the acoustic guitar most responsible for creating great tone. At Luthiers Mercantile International, we pride ourselves on being able to present soundboards of exceptional quality. During times when our Master Grade (or 4A grade, as they are more commonly called) is not available, you can assume that the 3A tops will offer quality acceptable for fine handmade guitars. In order to expertly grade our tops, we sand every acoustic flattop top we sell but we leave them thick enough so you can take them to their final finished thickness. We can also provide this service for you by way of the on-page customizations. Using filters on this site can make finding exactly what you want a simple task.
