Bed time... I don't think so. Not when you have the new LMI plunge Dremel base and a curly mahogany set that needs a sound port. I Love it. That was my first try at it. It knock off bout 15-20min of work! I knew exactly what I needed if for when you told me you had some with you at the GAL. I love that base and the light attachment is beyond perfect!

Vacuum Bridge Clamp

Vacuum Bridge clamp. Click for other view.

Vacuum is the best way to get a superior joint between your bridge and the top of your guitar. The rubber membrane puts even pressure EVERYWHERE on the bridge. Moisture is removed by the escaping air, which really speeds up dry time. The anodized aluminum frame has a clamping area of 8.25" x 3.5" and has a thick foam gasket to protect your guitar. Detailed instructions.

Important Note:  Care should be taken whenever using any rubber or synthetic product on a finished guitar. Rubber and vinyl react badly with finishes. We have found that neoprene is relatively safe when used on a lacquer finish, but care should still be taken. Make sure you finish is fully or almost fully cured, and never leave the neoprene in contact with the finished product any longer than is necessary.
