“Hello! My first-ever order arrived today. I had ordered some wood items and they are GORGEOUS! Smooth, perfectly flat!, and the woods themselves - with each one I pulled out, I just kept saying, WOW!, *WOW*!!!, over and over. And thank you so much for the beautiful piece of East Indian Rosewood - it was described as "2nd grade" I believe, and I asked for a reddish color if possible, and I think this piece is absolutely stunning! These really exceeded my expectations! Thank you!"
Indian Rosewood bridges are easily the most popular choice for classical guitars. Some think the tone is better than Ebony on steel strings because of its lighter weight. In most cases it is more stable than Ebony and it is less likely to split.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE: Due to the recent CITES convention ruling we are no longer able to ship Rosewood parts, including Indian Rosewood, outside of the U.S. but we have a limited selection of Indian Rosewood items warehoused in Canada for delivery to Canadian addresses. Look for the Maple leaf next to the applicable parts. Canadian HST and GST taxes will apply. These items will be shipped separately from the rest of the order.
