West African Ebony
West African Ebony (also known as Gabon Ebony from West Africa) has been a standard fingerboard wood for years. It is more stable than other Ebonies and compares well to Macassar Ebony (diospyros celebica) which is becoming harder and harder to legally obtain. West African Ebony is rarely pure-black, but the streaks and mottling that is indicative of this Ebony make it an attractive wood for acoustic backs and sides.
Because these sets are one-of-a-kind, they cannot be reserved. Once a set is purchased, it will disappear from the page. If a set was already put in another persons cart, they will not be able to check out until they remove it.
