Testimonials

Bed time... I don't think so. Not when you have the new LMI plunge Dremel base and a curly mahogany set that needs a sound port. I Love it. That was my first try at it. It knock off bout 15-20min of work! I knew exactly what I needed if for when you told me you had some with you at the GAL. I love that base and the light attachment is beyond perfect!

Plan, 1972 Daniel Friedrich classical guitar

SKU: PL21

PLAN1972FreidrichClassicalCourtnallPL21at1000copyrightDaniel Friedrich builds in his Paris workshop and adopts a thorough scientific approach based on the Torres and Bouchet designs. He measures the stiffness of his soundboards and braces and has used both Cedar and Spruce for the top. He laminates the ribs, (since 1970) for a total thickness of 4mm! His guitars are said to possess good sustain, tone, and great power. Among the players of his instruments are Stein-Erik Olsen, the late Ida Presti, and Alexander Lagoya, who guided Friedrich in his early years as a maker. Drawing by Roy Courtnall Summerfield.
