I want to express my deepest gratitude to the team at LMII.  When I started making guitars 26 years ago, my first guitar was made from wood that I ordered from the LMI catalog (there was no internet back then). Since then, the team at LMI has been nothing short of excellent!  The products and services are second to none.  My only regret is that I waited 26 years to say...THANK YOU!

Fiber Veneer Sheets

Fiber purflings have been in favor for many years now because they create cleaner, brighter looking trim lines than regular wood. Now, for those who want to use fiber in their own purfling lay-ups (or for headstock veneers and other purposes), we offer black and white veneer sheets in an assortment of useful sizes. Fiber is a cellulose product that finishes well and is flexible, so there is no need to use heat for bending and no danger of it cracking or splitting while you are working with it.  If you need to remove material use a scraper.

NOTE: We do not recommend using fiber veneer for binding, as it doesn’t sand well.
