End Blocks/Tail Blocks
The end block is the block that stabilizes the end of the guitar where the sides meet at the lower bout. The long edges of the block can be chamfered for an attractive look on the inside of your guitar.
The Khaya block is a good substitute for Honduran Mahogany (which can't be shipped due to CITES restrictions) for our international customers.
NOTE: The grain of end block follows the grain of the sides.
Mahogany is a traditional choice, but using Spruce will lower the weight of the guitar. Choose Spruce if you do not live in the United States as there are shipping restrictions for Honduran Mahogany.
