Anigre, from Africa, is a creamy butternut color that tends to darken slightly over time. Anigre should yield an instrument that looks and sounds much like Mahogany. The figure on this wood is stunning as you can see by the photos. The first photo below has a computer simulated finish which should give you a good sense stunning figure. The second photo is a photo of the "white" wood.
