Should Hollingworth Guitars go out of business during the year after your purchase of a new guitar, ProfessionalLuthier.com, a service of Luthiers Mercantile International, Inc, will step in to cover the cost of any repairs due to defects in materials or workmanship up to $3,000 or the cost of the guitar, whichever is less.
We will only provide this service when Hollingworth Guitars is no longer in the business of building or repairing guitars. The Process Either you, your luthier, or the luthier's dealer can print a copy of this page and fill in the information requested below. Your luthier or dealer must sign and date where indicated. Please send the original, signed certificate to us, we will validate it, add your registration number and return it to you. If within one year of our validation, you have a repair issue caused by a defect in materials or workmanship and the luthier is no longer in business, contact us by phone or email with your registration number. At that time you will need to produce your invoice. After recieving your invoice and determining that a repair is called for, we will have you send the guitar either to us or a qualified repair facility of our choice. The initial shipment is at your expense. Repairs or replacements will be made and the instrument will be returned to you at our expense, unless the repair person determines that the repair did not qualify because of limits a, b, c, or d above.
